My house has a basement garage that serves as the primary entry point for the house. For the last five and a half years, we've had five random, mismatched entry mats lined up from the garage entry door to the steps up to the main floor of the house. I hated it, but left well enough alone as the basement is entirely unfinished and that was the least annoying aspect. We recently started building walls to separate the storage/utility area of the basement from the entry, with the goal of eventually building nice built-in benches, coat lockers, shoe racks, etc. and having a very finished entryway. That finally made the array of wildly mismatched rugs drive me crazy. I started looking at custom seventeen-foot runners online and seeing prices that made my eyes pop for relatively uninteresting carpets. Those early search results calibrated my expectations. Between that and $5k spent carpeting my second-floor staircase and hallway with a designer runner, I resigned myself to spending a ton of money for something dull. Then I stumbled upon Well Woven. For the price of one of the mediocre runners I passed over on other websites, I could have bought this stunning runner five times over. It's incredible. The pattern is beautiful, the quality is top-notch, and it arrived very quickly. One of my favorite online shopping experiences of all time - a great product at a great price, delivered promptly.
