What width should I get for my hallway?

Most hallways and stair runs work best with a 4–6 inch margin of bare floor on each side. A 3-foot-wide hall takes a 27″ runner; a 3.5–4-foot-wide hall takes a 31″ runner. If you’re between sizes, the narrower runner usually looks more intentional.

How do I measure for stairs?

Multiply the tread depth + riser height by the number of steps, then add 6–12 inches for the landing wrap. Always round up; we can’t add length later. If you have multiple flights, order one continuous runner so the seam doesn’t fall on a step.

Will the cut edge fray or look unfinished?

Why is the 1-foot length still an option?

That’s a real product, not a leftover. Customers use 1-foot cuts for samples, repair patches, and custom edge sections — it stays in the dropdown intentionally. Most hallway buyers start at 4–8 feet.

How long does it take?

Are runners returnable?

Custom-cut runners are final sale because each one is cut to order from a continuous roll. If something arrives defective, contact us within 48 hours and we’ll replace it.

Is high pile a good fit for a hallway?

Honestly, not the best. Hallways and stair runs are the highest-traffic surfaces in the house, and high pile crushes fastest where it gets walked over most. Low- to medium-pile runners look better six months in.

All I can say is WOW!

Originally I purchased 2 W. W. carpets through Amazon. I was unhappy with my choice but W. W. customer support was terrific. I exchanged a 27" for a 31" wide carpet and was delighted with the support, the shipping time, the carpet, of course, and that the carpet is actually 32" wide. I simply could not be happier.

Comfortable

This rug is very comfortable to walk on as its a bit thicker. It also quickly flattens out so you dont have to worry about wrinkles. This is my third Abassi rug, as I loved the first one so much. I will continue to fill my home with these high quality rugs - hoping they add more colors!
