Yes — to the inch. Each rug is cut and finished to the width and length you specify. Slight variation up to 5% can occur in the weaving itself (industry standard for any rug), but the finished cut matches your spec.

Yes. Add this color to your Sample Box and we'll send a swatch cut from the same material family, so you can check the pile, color, and light in your room before ordering. Samples are $10 each, up to 5 per box, with $10 shipping unless you order 5 swatches. Each sample fee is credited toward rug orders of $200+ for 60 days.

Most rooms aren’t. We recommend ordering a rectangle that fits your largest open floor area — most furniture overlaps the rug edge anyway. For L-shapes, alcoves, or non-standard layouts, call us at 973-860-0520 and we’ll talk through it.

Measure the open floor space you want covered. For most living rooms, the rug should end 12–18 inches from the wall on each side. In dining rooms, add 24 inches beyond the table on every side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. See the full size guide →

Custom rugs are final sale — once we cut, the piece can’t go back on a roll. If you’re between sizes, round up rather than down (extra rug looks intentional; coming up short doesn’t). If something arrives defective, contact us within 48 hours and we’ll make it right.
