Use your regular vacuum setting. A beater bar is fine.
Blot spills promptly
Lift away any solids, then blot with a clean cloth. Do not rub.
Spot clean
Use a small amount of mild household detergent and water. Test a hidden area first, then blot. Do not soak the rug or backing.
Air dry
Air dry completely before putting the rug back in place.
Start with the furniture the rug needs to anchor.

It is beautiful. It is exactly what I was looking for. The colors are as vibrant as pictured. I love everything about it. I haven't washed it yet and so I don't know if it will fade, but it is an absolutely beautiful rug.
