Coda Collection Overview
Coda is our mix-and-match story: soft solids with stripe borders, global-inspired stripes, and modern abstract rugs that all share the same curated color palette. Machine-woven from recycled fibers, these pieces are designed to move seamlessly from entryway to living room to bedroom. Layer Coda rugs when you want your home to feel collected and modern, but still relaxed and easy to live with.
About the Coda Collection
At Well Woven, we’re always looking for ways to bring that “curated over time” feeling into spaces that are actually lived in every day. Coda does that by pulling several design directions into one cohesive, coordinated collection.
Every rug in Coda is machine-woven from recycled fibers, then finished in the same thoughtful color creel as our Elemental Collection. That shared palette—soft creams, grounding charcoals, layered neutrals, and muted color accents—means you can mix stripes, solids, and abstract motifs without worrying about anything clashing.
Within Coda, you’ll find:
- Soft textured solids with end stripes and tassels – the “quiet” rugs that anchor a space while still offering subtle movement and fringe detail.
- Ethnic-inspired stripes and motifs – global-leaning patterns that feel casual and lived-in, like a favorite flatweave or vintage kilim.
- Modern abstract and geometric designs – bolder shapes and color-blocking for rooms where the rug plays more like a piece of art.
These rugs are made for the way people actually use their homes: easy to style, easy to clean, and comfortable underfoot. Run a striped runner down a hallway, drop a textured solid in a dining room, and let an abstract piece hold the living room—all while keeping the same color story throughout the house.
Coda is for the modern, design-aware consumer who wants rooms to feel layered and intentional, but not over-designed. It’s about simple forms, tactile detail, and materials that respect both your lifestyle and the planet.
FAQs
1) Are rugs from the Coda Collection machine washable?
Yes. Coda rugs are machine washable for everyday life. Smaller sizes like 5x7 can fit in many home washers. Larger sizes (like 8x10 and 9x12) are washable too, but they can be heavy and bulky, so a large-capacity washer or a laundromat/commercial machine is usually the easiest option.
2) Can I put a Coda rug in the dryer?
No. Air dry only. After washing, hang dry or lay flat to dry completely.
3) How do I wash it?
For best results: wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid bleach. Air dry only.
4) Can I spot clean it between washes?
Yes. Blot spills first, then clean with mild household detergent and water. Light scrubbing with a soft brush or cloth is fine.
5) Are Coda rugs stain-resistant?
Yes — they’re made with stain-resistant yarns designed for everyday messes. Quick cleanup is best, but the materials are built to handle real life.
6) Can I use a robo vacuum? What about regular vacuuming?
Yes. Regular vacuuming is recommended, and a robo vacuum is great for daily upkeep between washes.
7) Can I use a household carpet-cleaning machine?
Yes — a household carpet cleaner can be a helpful maintenance option between washes, especially in busy rooms.
8) Do I need a rug pad?
We recommend a rug pad for grip and comfort, especially on hard floors and in high-traffic rooms.
9) What materials are Coda rugs made with?
Rugs from our Coda collection are made with non-virgin materials chosen for high resilience, long-wearing performance, and a premium feel.
CODA — Sizing Micro-Guide
Quick sizing tip: If you’re deciding between sizes, going bigger usually makes the room feel more finished. 5x7 works well for smaller living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices. 8x10 is the go-to size for most living rooms and dining spaces when you want furniture to sit partially on the rug. 9x12 is best for larger living rooms and open layouts where you want a more anchored, elevated look. (Keep in mind: larger sizes are heavier and bulkier to wash—5x7 is typically easiest at home, while 8x10/9x12 often do best in a large-capacity or laundromat washer.)
